Kim Edwards is a Palawa women from Tasmania and has been living and working in Canberra, ACT for the last 32 years.

Kim has worked in the vocational and education sector as a teacher and careers advisor at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT- TAFE) for 15 years. Kim initially came across to AILC from CIT on secondment to assist AILC in the development of their accredited leadership courses as their Curriculum Development Manager. 

 After having such a positive experience working with the wonderful team at AILC and impressed by the AILC ethos in supporting leadership in our communities, Kim stayed till retirement.

Prior to CIT, Kim has had a career in the public, private and community sectors in program management and service provision. Kim has multiple qualifications in vocational education and training including a degree in community education (adult education) and post graduate qualifications in career development practice.

Kim firmly believes in the ethos of AILC and feels very privileged to be able to come back and do a bit more to assist the team at AILC in their role in delivering leadership courses.
